# invalid_parameter

- **Worth retrying:** Not as it is. The request has to change first.

## What happened

A field is unknown, missing or has a value this model doesn't take. `path` names the field, and `hint` usually lists the values that work.

## What to do

Correct the field named in `path`. Read the model's `input_schema` from `GET /v1/models/{id}` rather than guessing its options.

## What it looks like

The real `message` and `hint` name the details of your request, such as the field and the values that work.
